I am posting this to warn everyone about a scam call I received today. A caller named Manoj claimed to be an officer from the Crime Branch. He alleged that charges were being filed against me for watching adult content on Google Chrome and threatened me with legal action. To "close" this false case and avoid court proceedings, he demanded a payment of ₹3,000 to ₹3,500. I do not view any such content, and this entire claim is completely fabricated. This is a classic Cyber Extortion / Digital Arrest scam designed to create panic and trick people into sending money immediately.
