Scam calling is a type of cybercrime where scammers make fake phone calls to trick people into sharing personal information, passwords, OTPs, bank details, or money. Scammers may pretend to be bank employees, police officers, delivery agents, customer-care representatives, or government officials. They often create fear or urgency to make the victim act quickly.
