scam related to gas agency

one week ago my father got an got from this number 06[PHONE] it was showing gas agency at Truecaller my father picked up that call then one person was saying that you haven't pay the amount for your gas connection.. but it was already paid.. that person said that send me the proof of your payment then he was like your 12rps are still left you have to pay via credit card my father said that i can only pay by cash or upi so that fraud person denied to pay by cash or upi he was like no you have to pay only via card it's our policy blah blah...then they start asking for bank account number but my father didn't tell him.. then he was saying that you have to pay otherwise we will disconnect your gas connection today..then he said that install cent eez app for central bank... my father installed.. because he was saying that sir I'll guide you just follow up me..and he was saying that all very gently.. like anyone can trust and think that it's true..after that he was trying that somehow my father tell him the account number..then my father was asking me that do i have to tell him the account number.. I strictly denied to my father then I called the gas agency official number and i asked them that one person is saying that you have to pay and you haven't pay and also tell me your account number and so and so...then gas agency official person denied and said that it's all fraud don't need to tell anything personal about you to that person...and guess what...yesterday my father's whatsApp number are hacked by that person...the profile picture are changed to gas agency limited and my father's whatsApp are locked from yesterday.. now my father reported to the cyber helpline station near our location...
