Fake Giveaway Scam "Congratulations! You won a brand-new iPhone. Click this link to claim your prize." (The link steals your personal information.) Facebook Support Scam "Your Facebook account will be permanently disabled. Verify your identity by logging in here." (The link leads to a fake login page.) Romance Scam A scammer builds a relationship online and later asks for money, claiming they have an emergency. Marketplace Scam A buyer sends a fake payment confirmation or asks you to pay a "delivery fee" before receiving payment. Impersonation Scam A scammer creates a fake profile pretending to be your friend or a celebrity and asks for money or personal information. Investment Scam "Invest $100 today and earn $1,000 in 24 hours with guaranteed profits." (These are fraudulent schemes.) Phishing Scam You receive a message saying your account has violated Facebook rules and must be verified through a fake website that steals your login credentials. Charity Scam Fake fundraisers claim to collect donations for disaster victims or sick children, but the money goes to scammers. These are among the most common Facebook scams. Always verify messages, avoid clicking suspicious links, and never share your password or one-time verification codes.
