DownloadScamming "French" man?
on a dating app I texted with a seemingly lovely man from France. we set up a whats app call. he gave me # and I called from my cell. no answer. and no answers to my texts. how do I find out if the # is legit? and has anyone been taken in like this from someone over seas?sc

its fake. they just wanted your number to add to a spam list. text msgs from WA do not provide your #. a phone call does. REQUIRE THE 3RD PARTY to open a chat video call on WA. If they won't initiate that connection ( bad signal, can't call out, people around or any other EXCUSE they are trying to hide something .

If you need to use a dating app instead of meeting a person one on one like they used to in the old days , then you're in real bad shape , I wouldn't trust the dating app if you sent me one

All the Dating Apps and Sites are ALL SCAMS. Meet someone by going OLD SCHOOL, don't pay money like a DUPE.
