I received a spam SMS from the number [PHONE] claiming to be a Jio alert about ₹500 being available in a new account. The message included a suspicious bit.ly link and misleading text like “check your space”. This is clearly a phishing attempt to trick users into clicking the link and stealing personal or banking information. I did not click the link and reported the number as spam. No financial loss occurred.
