I recently received an email from Microsoft saying someone in Germany was trying to access my account. I checked the sender details to be sure it came from Microsoft. The email came from Microsoft.net I always check sender addresses on emails before I send it to spam. It pays to check email addresses to know it came from a legit sender

I was hacked last year by someone claiming to be from Microsoft Support Team. it was a remote phone scam. Don't Ever call a number back from "Microsoft"!

I just typed the question into my browser " is *** an official microsoft email address " then clicked search - the answer is NO, microsoft official emails end in .com not .net
