DownloadSSA MAIL SCAM/CALL, MULTIPLE TIMES!!!
I have received multiple Social Security Administration. Letters that are 100% fraud! Any ssi recipients/recipients out there please be careful! The letters contained mix and matched authentic/false information, and what appears as a malicious web url(fraud report url link). Not to say that there's never going to be a simple typo in life, but it's more uncommon coming from a high security Administration, that handles confidential information, financial payments etc. I'm lucky to have caught the slight errors( as I confirmed on the official webpage, the u r l was not authentic) and not have been tricked into logging into a malicious web page or something although the phone numbers on my letters were the real contact numbers. I will be most sure to report/ freeze my account for what is obvious to assume as identity theft, or at least an attempt to, and everything else that comes in hand with that type of mess. I hope no one else has to go through this!!! 📍FAIRFAX COUNTY

When in doubt always check with your actual social security office if you have one near you. luckily where I live there's two close to me. I either call to make an appointment or see if it's possible to walk in if I need something. I especially don't trust phone calls claiming to be a federal government agency, if they really want to get a hold of you they either send a letter(more than likely by certified mail) or show up on you doorstep if it's law enforcement.

SSA never call and ask for any information if anything is wrong they will send you a letter so if that person who calls just let them know that you will call SSA yourself and what ever you do, do not call the number they call you from or any number they give you call the real SSA number you can look it up if you don't have it
