The mind of a scammer:the Vicky saga
this one is a pretty long story but I'm just going to keep it short and simple me and my sister got entangled with this particular scammer right here now I think it's just one person doing this that was definitely one person because they text the same way on different numbers we blocked them some days ago and now they're constantly texting us talking about they want to check back but the check was confiscated at a store because they said the check was fraudulent it couldn't be cash they couldn't get feedback on the check so they kept it with them now she's harassing me and my sister said she has her address stuff like that she's going to come to our house if she ever tried it it would be her loss but regardless this is annoying

This is clearly a scam. I believe that they think they're gonna keep calling you and keep calling you. For some reason I think they're scammers. Presuming they think you have a check, if it was legitimate they would have contacted the authorities, given me your phone number, given me your address, which they specify that they do have, which they probably don't, and given me the phone number to the police. They don't do that either. They will not come to your address because they probably don't have your address number. You know what you do here is you record that conversation when they call again on the one side. You have what they call "consent." You can record their phone conversation and then send that information to the authorities. Do not send it to Do Not Call. This is because those usually don't work. Send it to the local authorities and local member and try to see if you can capture their callback number. You get their callback number, send that number to the police as well, then you report it and then make sure you block a number in your true calling application.
