Trending Whatsapp hack fraud

I received a call from a number that pretended to be from Pakistan post. He said to me that he has a parcel that is to ne delivered to me, so he asked me whether I will receive it from Post office or should thet deliver it to me at my address. First of all, i started to think of any parcel that was pending but I found that no such parcel exists, but anyway, I thought that there may be a parcel for me. So I told him to deliver it to my address. After this, he said that parcel can only be delivered after my verification, and I asked him 'which type of verification'. He told me that that a code will appear on my screen after we end the call, he told me to give him that code after he calls me again. I said 'okay', the call ended, and an on-screen message appeared that told me this is a whatsapp verification code, and told me not to share with anyone. I got the situation that my whatsapp was being trying to be hacked,. I simply ignored that message, and received his call after a few moments. He asked me about the code but i told him that no code has appeared on my screen. This happened three times and the code appeared but I told him no code has appeared. Finally, he decided not to comtinue with me and AISAY MERI JAN CHUTI... So please be careful, don't share any code with anyone, even if you don't know why any code has arrived.
