🚨 Truecaller Scam Alert: Don’t Click Suspicious SMS Links!

🚨 SCAM ALERT: Don’t Trust Every SMS You Receive! Received a message claiming that money has been credited to your bank account? STOP before clicking any link. ⚠️ This screenshot shows a suspicious SMS containing a shortened Bitly link asking the recipient to “View details.” 🔴 Why this is a red flag: • Unexpected financial transaction [TXN_ID] • Shortened URL hiding the actual destination • Urgency designed to make you click without thinking • Fake banking/payment messages can lead to phishing pages, credential theft, malware or financial fraud 📱 Truecaller Awareness Tip If you receive a suspicious SMS: ❌ Don't click the link ❌ Don't enter your UPI PIN, OTP, card details or banking password ❌ Don't download an APK or unknown app ❌ Don't call numbers provided in suspicious messages ✅ Verify the transaction [TXN_ID] through your official banking app ✅ Report the sender/message ✅ Delete and block the sender if appropriate Remember: A message claiming that you've received money doesn't mean the money is actually in your account. 👉 Always verify through your bank's official app or website — not through a link inside an SMS. Stay alert. One careless click can turn a simple SMS into a serious security problem. 🔐 #Truecaller #ScamAlert #CyberSecurity #Phishing #OnlineScam #SMSScam #DigitalSafety #CyberAwareness #FraudAlert #StaySafeOnline #UPIScam #BankingScam
