🚨 UNPAID INTERNSHIP OR TOO MANY CONDITIONS? I’m a Fresher and I Genuinely Need Your Advice

I’m a fresher, and like many students starting their careers, I was excited to receive an internship opportunity. But after reading the offer letter carefully, I became confused—and honestly, a little uncomfortable. This is an unpaid internship, yet the offer letter mentions: 📌 Working hours: 10 AM – 7 PM 📌 Working days: Monday to Saturday (6 days) 📌 I have to use my personal laptop/device 📌 PAN card copy and other documents are required at joining 📌 A 12-month non-compete clause after leaving 📌 Restrictions on recruiting or influencing the company's employees after leaving 📌 A non-disparagement clause restricting public statements about the company after leaving And now I'm asking myself: Is this normal for an unpaid internship? As a fresher, I don't have years of corporate experience to know what is standard and what should make me pause. I’m not trying to accuse anyone or make assumptions about the company. I simply want to understand what I'm agreeing to before I sign anything or submit sensitive documents. The biggest question in my mind is: When you're a fresher desperately looking for your first opportunity, how do you know when you're getting valuable experience—and when you're accepting terms you don't fully understand?
