UPI Payment Fee Scam — Awareness Script Scammer: "Sir, there is a pending processing fee of ₹10/₹50 on your UPI payment. If you don't pay the fee, your UPI account will be disconnected." Victim: "Oh? How do I pay?" Scammer: "I am sending a payment request. Just approve it and enter your UPI PIN." Narrator: "STOP! This could be a scam. Do not approve payment requests or enter your UPI PIN just because an unknown person asks you to." "The UPI PIN is not used to receive payments. If anyone asks you to enter your PIN in the name of 'fee', 'verification', or 'account disconnection', verify first." CTA: "Unknown UPI request = No payment. Keep your PIN secret, and immediately disconnect suspicious calls. Stay alert, protect yourself from scams!"
