VI tower scam

Yesterday a women came to our house and said my father that she is a representative from Vodafone company and is here to inspect places to install a network tower. she told my father that she liked the place and wanted 400 sq feet area. We live in a village and she said that the company will give 5.5 lakh rupees for that area with addition to 10k rent and also added that they will give a job worth 9k for security guard as my father ran a shop and the area is just near that shop my father can act as a security guard and he only need to check the place twice a day. And 2 days later the engineer will come and inspect the place. so today a call came claiming that he is from VI company kolkata sector 5 branch and that wanted our land nom my father told them the number and after an hour they said they need 4.8k ruppes for some permissions and they send me a qr code with bank details. When I learnt this I checked google and it said that no company asks money for installation so I understand that it's a complete fraud. I called the number that guy picked and I asked questions and he couldn't even answer anything probably. I told our family lawyer he confirmed it's a fraud and told me to give his number to the scammer and dared him to call the lawyer. I did that and even called him a thief in WhatsApp. he didn't replied yet after few hours he called my father, and my father didn't pick the call as we got to know the truth. Just imagine the audacity of these scammers. Be aware guy's. from the IFSC code I found that person is from Purba medinipore a district in West Bengal
