warning

Hi everyone, I am posting this hoping someone can help me, or at least to warn others so they don't go through the nightmare I am currently in. Yesterday, I sold my laptop for €2,500 (around £2,100). The buyer came to collect it and showed me what looked like a very legitimate banking app on his phone (it looked like an AIB transfer to my Barclays account). He showed me the "Transaction ID" and the screen clearly said "Sent". As soon as he took the laptop and drove off, he completely blocked my number and disappeared. My bank has confirmed that no money is coming and it was a fake banking app scam. I am a student, and I worked incredibly hard for a very long time to save up this money. I am absolutely devastated, heartbroken, and don't know what to do. Losing this amount is a massive blow to me. I have his car details and I have the registration plate. If anyone has experienced a similar scam recently in the BManchester area, or knows anything about this tactic, please send me a DM. Any advice would be highly appreciated. Please be careful everyone! Never hand over your items until the money is physically showing in your own banking app.
