WARNING ⚠️ STAY ALERT

SCAM ALERT - Fake Meesho/Valmo Delivery Scam ⚠️ Beware of scammers impersonating Meesho/Valmo delivery services. Here's how this scam works: You'll receive repeated "Failed Delivery" SMS/messages claiming your Meesho order couldn't be delivered, asking you to pay via UPI by scanning a QR code on the "rider app." Genuine Meesho orders send OTPs directly from Meesho for delivery confirmation. Recently, scammers have been sending fake OTPs pretending to be from Meesho — these are NOT legitimate. After sending the fake OTP, the scammer will call you claiming there's an issue with your address (wrong/incomplete address) and that your parcel needs to be cancelled. IMPORTANT: There is no legitimate "cancel via OTP" process on the delivery side. If your parcel truly needs cancellation, the courier/seller cancels it from their end — they will NEVER ask you to share an OTP to do so. The real goal is to trick you into sharing the OTP, which they can misuse for unauthorized transactions or order [TXN_ID]. How to protect yourself: Never share OTPs over calls, no matter what reason is given (address issue, cancellation, delivery confirmation, etc.) Verify order status only through the official Meesho app, not via SMS links or QR codes Report and block these numbers immediately 📵 Reported numbers: [[PHONE], [PHONE]] Stay alert, don't share your OTP with anyone claiming to be a delivery agent. 🚫
