  Hi Anjali sis, Please read through the Strongest WhatsApp security settings which when you apply on your phone, you will never get into any traps. Enable Two-Step Verification Settings → Account → Two-step verification → Turn On Set a strong 6-digit PIN. Add your recovery email. Enable Passkeys (if available on your device) Settings → Account → Passkeys Use your fingerprint or face unlock instead of SMS verification where supported. Turn on Chat Lock Open any chat → Tap the contact name → Chat Lock. Use fingerprint to unlock sensitive chats. Privacy Settings Last Seen & Online → Nobody / "Same as Last Seen" Profile Photo → My Contacts About → My Contacts Status → My Contacts Except... (or only trusted people) Groups Settings → Privacy → Groups → My Contacts Prevent random people from adding you to groups. Disappearing Messages Set the default timer to 24 hours if you prefer minimal message retention. Block Unknown Accounts Turn on "Block messages from unknown accounts" if available. Silence Unknown Callers Settings → Privacy → Calls → Enable. This greatly reduces scam and spam calls. Security Notifications Settings → Privacy → Advanced → Show security notifications → On. You'll be notified if a contact's encryption key changes. Protect IP Address in Calls Settings → Privacy → Advanced → Protect IP address in calls → On. Disable Link Previews (Advanced) Settings → Privacy → Advanced → Disable link previews → On, if available. Keep WhatsApp Updated Always install the latest version for security fixes.
