Phone number spoofing?

I am receiving WhatsApp messages and calls from various random people claiming that I called them but they couldn't answer or talk, and now they are calling me back. I have no idea what this is about. Should I be worried? Additionally, I have been receiving strange calls from an Indian number and once from an Israeli number. When I answer, there is a recorded message saying someone is trying to change my phone number on the Binance website... and if I want to speak to a representative. It is clear to me that this is a scam to extract information.
