Harassment using someone else's phone number

I bought a Vodafone line from the company with an ownership contract, and after more than a year, I was surprised to find my phone number blocked, registered on a completely different Gmail account that is not mine, as an intruder for 7 people. How can a big company like Vodafone not cancel an old sales contract and cause us such problems?
