Important warning: Beware of an attempted scam. How did an unknown party try to deceive me? Be careful: a suspicious message is being sent to people. I wanted to share with you an experience I had today so that none of you fall into the same mistake. I received a message/a person contacted me claiming to be from (entity name: for example, Bank of Egypt) and said, "Sir, you are a Vodafone Cash customer, and now you have a problem with your Vodafone Cash account." He spoke to me like this in the message. First, I don't have Vodafone Cash; I have Orange Cash. After that, he got into the pension topic, saying, "Sir, you have an account at Bank of Egypt." Honestly, I couldn't tolerate his insults. A few days later, I received a message without any text, just a picture via (text message). Details: They asked me to (mention what they asked: for example, click on a link, send an activation code, or pay a sum of money). Why did I feel it was a scam? (First point: for example, the style was urgent and pressuring). (Second point: the link was suspicious and did not belong to the official site). (Third point: they asked for personal data they have no right to request). I hope everyone takes care and no one gives their data or clicks on any suspicious link. 💡 Very important tips before sharing: Beware of "personal data": before attaching pictures of messages or the site, make sure to cover or erase any private information such as (your full name, phone number, credit card number, or any secret codes).
