Fake UPI Payment Message – My Story One day, I suddenly received an SMS on my mobile saying that money had been credited to my account via UPI. At first, I thought someone had really sent me money. I immediately opened my UPI app to check the balance, but no money had arrived. Then I became suspicious about where the SMS had come from. I looked at the message carefully. It looked exactly like a real bank message, but something was definitely wrong. It said "UPI Payment successful," but no money had come into my account. After a while, I realized that this could be a fake UPI payment message. If I had trusted the SMS alone and sent money back to someone, I would have lost my own money. That day, I learned a very important lesson: nowadays, cyber fraudsters use fake SMS and fake payment messages to trap people. Therefore, now I never trust any payment SMS immediately. I first check my bank account or UPI app myself to see if the money has really arrived or not. For me, this was not just an SMS, but a lesson to avoid cyber fraud.
