I created this post to inquire about verifiable information regarding a debt collection SMS I received. I am not concluding that the message is a scam, nor am I confirming which company sent it. What appears in the SMS: • The sender's name shows as “ทวงหนี้นาเบท่อ” without a source phone number to verify. • The message claims there is an outstanding balance and requests payment and contact within today. • The message mentions legal action or enforcement if there is no contact or compliance. • The message provides a callback number [PHONE] and instructs to contact Call Center 1527, press 1. What can be verified: • The official website of JMT Network Services states 1527 as the company's contact number. • The SMS mentioning number 1527 does not prove the message was sent by JMT. • I could not find an official source confirming that [PHONE] is a JMT number. However, not finding it is not proof that this number is a scam. • The related Truecaller page shows a “JMT” label and user comments. This information is community-reported and not a confirmation of the sender by the company or phone service provider. What cannot yet be confirmed: • Who the real sender of the SMS is, since there is no sender number to verify. • Whether the callback number [PHONE] is linked to the sender or any company. • Whether the SMS is truly related to JMT. • Whether there is any debt, outstanding balance, or case related to the message recipient. If there are documents or announcements from official sources confirming this SMS format or callback number, please share references. Please avoid posting personal information of the message recipient, and do not rely solely on the SMS or Truecaller label as proof of debt or legal case.
