Caller ID

Now, make split-second decisions to receive calls with Truecaller’s caller ID. You can know whether it's a Standard, Spam, Priority, or a Business Call immediately because of the different screen colors of our caller ID screen! 

• Blue shows a standard call.
• Red is for a spam call.
• Purple is a priority call.
• Green is for calls from Verified Businesses

After every call, you will get a screen that gives you an option to do the following in just one click each:

• View the user’s profile on Truecaller
• Call them right back
• Message them
• Save the contact
• Block the number immediately

You can choose what type of caller ID you want while using Truecaller. Choose between a Full-Screen Caller ID, which gives all the caller details across your whole phone screen, and the pop-up caller ID option where there would be a pop-up details box on your phone call screen. 

To choose, go to Settings from the right top menu > Caller ID > Choose the Style.

Add a personal touch to your calls using Truecaller's "Call Reason" feature. Clearly communicate the purpose of your call, setting the tone for productive and meaningful conversations. You can select from preset templates as well to put in your ‘call reason’! This can be done for one particular call or if you are someone who makes a lot of calls, a generic call reason could be set up from

Settings > Calls > Call Reason toggle on.

Now with Truecaller, you don't have to worry about getting unknown calls and messages on different messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram*. For this feature to work, go to

Settings > Calls > Identify calls on other apps toggle on

*On Telegram, we only support message sender identification
