Okay I have spent 48 hours testing these apps and have discovered they are designed through the apps permissions on your device to force your devices to stay on draining battery life and kills all functionality of the device to make the end user believe that there is something wrong with the device where majority would believe they need a new device, these "cash apps" need to be blocked from our Australian economy to protect older and younger generations from these scams specifically designed to kill devices and veiw all your information on the affected devices.

yes paying attention to the permission list is the biggest key... you can even get some that clearly state they can block/redirect calls and even make them or msg without user permissions etc also once they can run in foreground and over lay, they can then not only see every thing including where you tap, but some can even start showing a false screen to the user allowing them to use phone in background as they desire.. be careful and pay attention when adding new apps
