Another scamming method right?

I was sent an airtime of #1k. A guy called me back few minutes later and asked me to please send it back that it was meant for his mother who is in the village. He said if I send it back, he will send me a huge sum of money to appreciate me but he will send me a four digit number to activate it first on my phone before we begin...I hanged up! please, was he about to scam me??😒😒

Yes na. That's a scam. once you send the code he has automatically gained access to your phone number and sim card and he might do Sim swapping and you will be holding an invalid sim card why he would be with another sim card but with your phone number. You might be wondering how I got to know this, I'm and Undergraduate in the Uni studying Cyber Security

before nko, better scam. He wants to send you a code. Any code sent to you that you later use has given the other party access to your details. be careful o

He has money to send you a huge amount of money but can't buy credit for his mother in the village and is insisting you return the one you received. if lie lie was a person🙄
