Keep you children away from these types of sites

On the 10th, I booked a laptop for ₹550 through an advertisement. Initially, they charged me ₹250, followed by a request for a ₹500 payment; out of that ₹500, I received ₹200 back. They sent me a bill and photos of the packaging but provided no details regarding the delivery partner or return process. The next afternoon (the 11th), the delivery partner called to say my tracking ID had been deleted and I needed to contact the company to regenerate it. When I contacted the company, they claimed I needed to pay ₹1,940 to fix the ID. I didn't have that much, so they said ₹1,500 would suffice; I transferred ₹1,000 and then immediately another ₹500 to their QR code. They then claimed the payment had been processed incorrectly and the company would impose a fine, so I needed to send ₹2,560. I borrowed the money from friends and sent the ₹2,560, though they made me pay it in two installments—first ₹2,500 and then ₹560. They claimed there was an issue with the payment and demanded another ₹3,131 to unlock it. At this point, I suspected fraud and stopped making payments. When I asked them to cancel the order and refund my money, they refused and even threatened me with legal action. I informed my parents; they scolded me but also spoke to the company, which insisted that paying the ₹3,131 would unlock the transaction and allow me to recover the full amount—approximately ₹11,691. However, I refused to pay and instead reported the matter to the cyber crime authorities.
