many agent are scam oo
i was scam my a Agent i don't know telling me to send half payment on a house i don't see by my friend hunsband which i did (200k)..from two weeks nw i don't see d house and dey dont refund my money back to me .

You don't have to pay for the house you have not seen. You don't have to pay to the agent you don't know or don't have an established firm. There are so many local and unestablished agency these days. The best approach is to go and see the house physically, if you like the house and you're ready to pay, ask for the landlord account number and the phone number. Call and be sure is the landlord before paying. What the agent is after is the agency fees of what ever percentage agreed on. Note, this approach is when you're dealing with a local agent that doesn't have an office. But an established agency should have an office and must be registered even if the office is not available yet. So such agency, you can pay to them but that after you have accessed the house and you like it. That's my opinion, thanks.

You did wrong yourself, you could have not send the money while you've seen the apartment only lord will help you retrieve back that money now
