they told me they wanted to buy a motorbike i was selling

I posted that I was selling a motorcycle on Facebook so I added my contact number to the post. they called pretending to be an older man on the outscates of Malawi. they said he will write a cheque for the payment and his sons who were coming to Lilongwe will look at the motorcycle first and cash the cheque after seeing the motorcycles condition. his children were to reach Lilongwe around 6 am today. and I get a call from them saying they are stuck, they were involved in an accident that required about 50,000 Malawi kwacha to fix. and since there father was in the outscates with no mobile money agents. I should borrow them money they will refund when paying for the motorcycle. good thing i don't trust strangers I just said I don't have money right away and I haven't heard from them since.
